Description

Description
Reflective mirror for portable laser welding (14 x 30 x 2 mm). Precision optics designed for SUP21 and SUP23 systems. Optimizes beam control in portable fiber laser welders and serves as a core component of the scanning (Wobble) system, ensuring accurate beam reflection with minimal power loss.

Main details
  • Application: reflective optic for portable laser welding heads with scanning/wobble function.
  • Material: high-grade fused silica with a high-damage-threshold dielectric coating.
  • Designed to minimize thermal absorption and prevent optical deformation during extended operations.

Technical specifications (excerpt)
  • Dimensions: 14 mm x 30 mm
  • Thickness: 2 mm
  • Material: Fused Silica with high-damage-threshold dielectric coating
  • Wavelength: 1064 nm (optimized for fiber lasers)
  • Reflectance: >99.8% (to minimize thermal absorption)

Key features
  • High damage threshold: designed to withstand high laser powers (up to 3000 W) without surface degradation.
  • Optimized geometry: 14 x 30 mm format covers the full wobble range of the laser head for wide, uniform welds.
  • Excellent thermal dissipation: fused silica substrate reduces thermal lensing and maintains focal stability during prolonged cycles.
  • Compatibility: spare designed for SUP21, SUP23 and SW series; quick and precise installation.

Available variants
  • 30 x 14 mm with straight support
  • 30 x 14 mm with extended support
  • 30 x 14 mm lens only

When to replace the reflective lens?
  • Drop in welding power: caused by burnt deposits or coating degradation on the surface.
  • Beam instability: distorted or non-uniform beam during wobble.
  • Abnormal overheating of the head: sign of excessive absorption by a dirty or damaged optic.

Maintenance notes
  • Clean only with high-purity ethanol or isopropyl alcohol and scratch-free optical wipes.
  • Avoid direct contact with the reflective surface using fingers.

Table - Welding gun components
Nozzle (copper) | Directs laser beam and shielding gas to the weld point.
Telescopic tube / Adjustment ring | Allows precise focal position adjustment in millimeters.
Protective lens | Protects internal optics from spatter and debris.
Focusing lens | Concentrates the laser into a very small, high-power spot.
Reflective lens / Galvanometer | Directs the beam; in sway models it creates the oscillating movement.
Wobble motor | Drives the beam oscillation for wider welds.
Collimating lens | Makes divergent fiber output beams parallel.
Trigger / Activation button | Controls laser emission (typically with a contact safety).
Wire feeding bracket | Mechanical support for automatic filler wire feeding.
Water circuits / Gas channel | Cool the torch (water) and protect the weld pool (gas).
Protective sleeve | Interface and protection for the fiber optic connector.
