Overview
The LT400RS is the first mobile impact crusher of the Lokotrack® EC range, engineered for on-site recycling of concrete, demolition waste and asphalt. It combines impact crushing, screening and separation in a diesel-electric mobile unit to deliver saleable recycled aggregates.

Performance & process
The LT400RS is built around the Nordberg® NP1213MR impact crusher with a 250 kW electric process drive. Large conveyors, wide service access and robust material flow design support high production rates, low blockage risk and consistent product quality through recipe-based operation.

Operation & power
The unit operates dieselelectrically: all process functions run electrically. A factory-integrated diesel generator supplies the process, with the option to connect to external site power to reduce fuel use, emissions and noise.

Separation & end products
Large double-deck screen (1,520 x 4,200 mm) configurable for 1–3 end products, combined with an integrated windsifter and adjustable electromagnet to remove light contaminants and steel, enabling production of clean recycled aggregates.

Controls, automation & service
Equipped with Metso ICX automation (large display, fault diagnostics, production recipes). Remote control and monitoring options are available. Metso offers digital services and global support, including wear parts and maintenance services.

Transport & mobility
Crawler-mounted design for frequent relocations. Compact transport dimensions, foldable conveyors and a removable screen unit simplify transport and on-site setup.

Options & flexibility
Multiple configurations available: impact plate setups, screen layouts, windsifter and magnet options, grid connection or diesel-only operation, and a range of wear part options.
