Guided climbing means that after each pouring cycle the system climbs up the building structure by one level. Climbing is done with the help of guiding profiles and climbing shoes while the system is lifted by a crane.
The MEVA Guided Climbing (MGC) system offers a significant advantage. Thanks to its clever design, the units – including guide rail and ladder extensions, trailing platforms and other components – can be assembled safely and efficiently on the ground.
The MGC-H and the wall formwork always form a single unit. Guide rails ensure that it remains firmly anchored to the building even under windy conditions, during both the construction phase and the climbing phase (hydraulically or by crane). Work is safe, even with wind velocities of up to 70 km per hour.
MGC-H is also available with a slide carriage to provide sufficient space for forming and box out work.
