Description

Our precision linear polarizers are constructed by laminating a polymer polarizing film between two high-precision AR coated glass or fused silica windows. The standard 12.7, 25.4, and 50.8 mm outer diameters are convenient for mounting into Newport rotary mounts. •UV, visible, and NIR polarizers •Low wavefront distortion •Standard diameters for convenient mounting •AR coated for maximum transmission Black Anodized Aluminum Housings The polarizer assembly is mounted in a black anodized aluminum housing for protection, with the transmission axis clearly marked. The result is linear polarizers with high transmission and low wavefront distortion. The standard 12.7, 25.4, and 50.8 mm outer diameters are convenient for mounting into Newport rotary mounts. Ultraviolet Polarizer Our ultraviolet polarizers are recommended for 310-400 nm wavelength applications, and use a UV Fused Silica substrate. Visible Polarizer Our visible polarizers are recommended for 430-670 nm wavelength applications, and use a Grade A N-BK7 substrate. Near Infrared Polarizer Our near infrared polarizers are recommended for 1100-1750 nm wavelength applications, and use a Grade A N-BK7 substrate. Precision Linear Polarizers Our Precision Linear Polarizers consist of dichroic sheet polymer polarizer material that is laminated between high quality glass substrates. In the visible wavelength range, these precision optics offer peak-to-valley transmitted wavefront distortion of <λ/5. They feature high extinction ratios, surface quality of 40-20 scratch-dig and offer wide angular acceptance.
