The MTS 8201 Model is a continuous sheet metal thickness measuring instrument developed by Micro-Epsilon. It is built with a robust construction and comes with C-frame and O-frame designs. The framework features large material width, stability, and high precision in the thickness measurements. The unit allows documentation of thickness profile and width for every coil / strip, documentation of detailed length information, and completely non-contacting and wear-free measurement. The system is also supplied with 4000 mm maximum width, <1 mm bis 200 mm thickness, and ±5μm accuracy. In addition, this product is equipped with 0.5 mm to 20 mm.
