The mechanical seals are designed to deliver excellent twin directional sealing performances in general purpose machines and are geared to operate in low to medium pressure applications. They are equipped with a solitary cylinder-shaped spring and bellows that are structured from elastomer. They also consist of a rotary ring and elastomer stationary ring.
The seals are available in an optional version which is engineered to be compliant with DIN 24960 guidelines, manufactured from varying materials as per requirement and equipped with O-ring or stationary rings with cup. The contact surfaces are manufactured from diverse materials such as Silicon carbide SiC, antimony infused Carbographite, Tungsten Carbide, resin infused Carbographite and Aluminum Oxide.
The seals are equipped with elastomer components that may be NBR, FPM/Viton or EPDM materials. They have a diameter of 14 to 100 mm and work at torques of -20 at temperatures of 180°C. Their operating pressure is 1 bar and can endure speeds of 10 m/s in operations. The seal components also incorporate a range of materials such as stainless steel 304, Hastelloy C, stainless steel 316, Graphite, Ceramic, besides the elastomer materials and contact surface materials.
