The MTM 110 series is a leaf spring mechanical seal developed by Microtem. It is mainly used in particularly dirty and/or viscous liquids with solid particles in suspension. This double directional mechanical seal is supplied with shaft sleeve structure with compliance to DIN 24960 directive requirements. It can withstand a working temperature of -30 °C to 275 °C. Its standard contact surface is built from graphite impregnated with antimony, graphite impregnated with resin, stainless Steel 304, or stainless Steel 316 materials. The elastomer is also developed from FPM/Viton, EPDM, NBR, or Kalrez construction. In addition, this balanced mechanical seal is composed of stationary ring, rotary ring insert, spring, rotary sleeve, rotary sleeve elastomer, blocking shaft screw, rotary casing insert, and stationary ring elastomer.
