The RPS-401 is an ultrasonic proximity sensor housed in a durable PVC barrel and powered by 20–30 VDC with reverse polarity protection. It features a sealed transducer for use in harsh environments and operates in either proximity or hysteresis mode. Available in 4–40 inch or 8–80 inch ranges, the sensor provides isolated solid-state N.O. and N.C. relay outputs for AC or DC switching. A built-in LED indicates detection status, and the sensor is supplied with either a standard cable or quick-disconnect option for easy installation.
