MODU Spiral Conveyor is a compact vertical conveyor system designed for continuous product elevation, lowering, buffering and conveying between different levels of a production or material handling system. Its modular and reliable design provides flexible product handling while making efficient use of floor space.

The spiral conveyor can transport cartons, cases, trays, totes, containers and other products in continuous upward or downward flows. It is suitable for vertical material handling, production lines, packaging lines, distribution centers, warehouses and automated conveyor systems.

For buffering applications, the spiral accumulation conveyor can be configured to elevate and store mass flows of containers or products, providing temporary storage and helping to balance production processes. Its compact footprint, high conveying speed, low noise and low maintenance requirements make it suitable for continuous operation.

The 3-dimensional conveying concept allows products to move vertically and horizontally through complex layouts, reducing the need for additional product transfers. The Portal Solution uses a continuous conveyor belt between the upward and downward spirals, minimizing product transfers and reducing the risk of jams in elevated conveyor sections.

The system can also be equipped with an Automatic Lubrication System (ALS) and tension adjustment features to simplify maintenance and support reliable long-term operation.
