The ones in the video are specifically designed to lift and transport railway locomotives and carriages around their production plant. Thanks to a Morello innovative system, called A.M.A.S. (Automatic Movers Alignment System), they can keep their synchronization even without any rigid load connecting them.

Manufacturing railway rolling stock involves different stages during which the materials and sub-assemblies must be moved within the plant. Generally, a manufacturing plant for railway carriages and locomotives covers a very large area and specialized equipment is required to move materials from one zone to the next.
Modern railway carriages contain long sections of lightweight materials which must be moved around the plant. The size, length, weight and structure of the equipment requires suitable transporters to move materials efficiently and safely. A 15- or 20-metre-long steel section must be handled carefully to avoid accidental bending while being shuttled from one area of the plant to another.
