The EN 50155 Class Tx certified Firewall / Router is used in railway applications, and is an expansion of the existing GUARD product range. It has been developed by MPL for use as Industrial Gigabit Firewall and VPN Router. It is equipped with 3 Fast Ethernet interfaces and with M12 connectors and specially designed housing that permits use of Firewall in unrelenting environments without needing fans or ventilation holes. It can be mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail, rack or on a wall, making mounting easy. It has close-fit housing to offer appropriate amount of space to add other peripherals. The GUARD operates under -20°C to +60°C, and optionally, -40°C to +85°C without fan or case openings. It can be customized for specific uses.
