Newmark's VS-15 Series Vertical Lift linear stages offers precise vertical translation for elevating small payloads. The wedge design converts horizontal motion into vertical elevation of the platform. The use of linear guide bearings insures a stiff and stable platform across the entire range of travel. The VS-15 Series has 15mm of travel and comes standard with integrated limit switches and a size 17 stepper motor. Options include a 1000 line rotary encoder and an MDrive Intelligent motor. The drive system utilizes a stainless steel ACME lead screw with internally lubricated plastic drive nut. The drive nut offers zero backlash operation that automatically adjusts for wear to insure zero backlash for the life of the stage. Vacuum compatible and manually driven versions of the VS Series are available. All VS Series stages are machined from 6061 aluminum alloy and black anodized.
