Description

Manufacture film that delivers superior protection against oxygen, moisture, and odors. As global attention on sustainability continues to grow, barrier film producers must focus resources on delivering products that help reduce food and material waste. Create Effective Barrier Film Now more than ever, it's critical that the barrier films used in food packaging provide the superior qualities required to extend shelf life. Ensuring these films have the capability to prevent moisture, oxygen, or odor from quickly ruining perishable items is no easy task - but with the use of the right extrusion equipment, it becomes much easier to produce highly effective barrier films. Deliver Film With Consistent Barrier Properties Throughout Its Width Our patent-pending Multiflow™ 10 manifold presents cast film processors with many benefits in an industry-preferred die body design. The manifold is designed with a faster purging flow channel (when compared to competitive designs) to provide the lowest residence time in a straight backline manifold die. By uniformly distributing barrier properties across the width, the Multiflow™ 10 manifold also helps processors quickly refine their production process to increase the output of saleable film. Manufacture Film That’s Ready for a Packaging Challenge Our barrier film dies are designed to meet the needs of producers who turn to coextrusion processes to create a multi-layer structure with increased durability. The Multiflow™ 10 manifold features larger preland gaps and longer lip lands to prevent coextrusion instability. This means the desired layer-to-layer ratio remains virtually the same throughout the width of the film,
