Overview
The PCS-9611 is a feeder protection, control and monitoring relay designed for overhead lines, underground cables and transformer applications on solidly grounded, impedance grounded, Peterson coil grounded and ungrounded systems. It integrates a comprehensive function library, programmable logic, configurable I/O and frequency-tracking. Built on an advanced multiprocessor platform, the PCS-9611 fully complies with IEC 61850 station and process bus standards and supports IEC 61850-8-1 MMS, GOOSE and IEC 61850-9-2 Sampling Value.

Communication

• Up to four 10Base-T/100Base-TX (RJ45) ports or two 100Base-FX ports; up to six 100Base-FX ports for IEC 61850-9-2 SV and GOOSE
• IEC 61850-8-1 MMS and GOOSE for non-time-critical messaging; IEC 60870-5-103 over TCP/IP or DNP3.0 support
• Two RS-485 rear ports with IEC 60870-5-103 and one additional RS-485 port for clock synchronization
• One RS-232 rear port for printer and one faceplate RJ45 port for testing and configuration
