Product descriptionThe F50 Series trackball module is a high‑specification human interface device engineered to operate in extremely demanding environments where reliability and long service life are required. The module is supplied with three integrated switches providing standard left, middle and right button functions. The number and position of switches can be modified for custom solutions.
The aluminium construction delivers impact resistance, electrical shielding and environmental protection, making the module suitable for military, marine and aerospace applications. High‑grade stainless steel shafts and bearings provide precise, repeatable pointer control.
The module incorporates Cursor Controls Ltd patent‑protected anti‑vibration technology to ensure only intended ball movements are transmitted to the host system (i.e. when the user’s hand contacts the ball). This prevents unwanted cursor motion from external shocks or vibration.
The F50 Series can be supplied with various top‑plate styles to adjust tracking force and with optional HALO illumination for low‑light use. The module is designed for front‑of‑panel mounting as part of a rugged keyboard or console.
