Description

Product overview
For the dry injection of sorbents and activated carbon, NTE Process has patented Eco-Lance®: an air‑blown injection technology that uses a high‑capacity blower to mix sorbents with hot flue gases under controlled turbulence. Eco-Lance® injectors enhance blending and dispersion of sorbents inside the flue gas duct, improving pollutant/sorbent reaction efficiency and reducing sorbent consumption and maintenance compared with traditional immersed‑lance systems. The solution delivers immediate operating savings and a measurable ROI.

Main advantages
  • Reduction of pollutant levels (SO2, SO3, HCl, Hg) including retrofit on existing plants.
  • Up to 50% reduction in sorbent usage versus traditional injection lances.
  • Variable performance and flexibility via a fan with inverter to adapt charge air to operating load.
  • Improved dispersion of major dry sorbents: hydrated lime, sodium bicarbonate, trona and activated carbon.

Applicable sectors
Energy generation; biomass plants; glass production; cement plants; foundries; coal‑fired furnaces and boilers.
