Description

Overview
The NTE Process Minijet Ash On Skid M504 is a pre-assembled, pre-wired skid unit designed for dense‑phase pneumatic conveying of fly ash and filter/ESP dust in heavy‑industry applications. It is suitable for integration at steel mills, biomass plants, incinerators, glassworks and similar facilities where abrasive, cohesive powders must be handled reliably.

Installation & Integration
  • Designed for installation under silos and hoppers and for connection to economisers and boiler outlets when appropriate preparation is provided.
  • Compatible with lump breaker M503 and crusher systems to manage agglomerates and prevent blockages.
  • Compact skid format simplifies mechanical and electrical integration on existing conveying lines.

Valve & Wear Resistance
  • Equipped with the M508 double ceramic disc valve specifically engineered for ash and highly abrasive materials.
  • Valve rated for operation at temperatures up to 400°C and designed without gaskets to reduce common failure points.
  • Ceramic sealing surfaces significantly reduce wear, extending service intervals and lowering maintenance costs.
  • Includes seal and valve seat flushing systems to prevent buildup and simplify maintenance procedures.

Control & Operation
  • Skid can be supplied with an on-board control panel and HMI for standalone operation and local monitoring.
  • Alternatively available with a junction box for remote analogue or digital control and plant integration.
  • Low compressed air consumption enables operation from standard plant air networks, reducing utility demand.

Technology & Performance
  • Combines Minijet fluidised-bottom technology (compact transporter for potentially cohesive powders) with Air Assist® devices (M366/M533) for controlled air injection along dense‑phase lines.
  • Effective for conveying coal, fuel‑oil and biomass ash over long distances and at high flow rates.
  • Modular design allows multiple Minijet units to be connected on a single conveying line to increase throughput while fitting constrained plant layouts.
