With a capacity to process 2 tonnes of food waste per year (4-5kg per day) it is best suited to a coffee shop, small school or office space. Oklin’s GG02 is an innovative and efficient method of composting home food waste. This machine is slightly larger than your average kitchen bin with a top loading lid. The composting activity is fully self-contained and features a built-in deodoriser. This compact machine is ideally installed in a kitchen, utility room or store close to a waste pipe, such as the U-bend of a sink, to vent the warm, damp air that is expelled from the machine. If a drainage connection is not possible, we can provide a filter system as an optional extra to prevent any smells. You will need a 13amp plug socket for the electrical connection. The mixing paddles stop automatically on opening of the lid as a safety feature. By reducing the volume of food waste by up to 90%, the compost will only need to be removed from the composter on approximately a weekly basis.
