Overview
The OMAX Compatible Program connects customers with third-party software vendors and encourages those vendors to develop software that improves interoperability with the OMAX IntelliMAX Suite. IntelliMAX provides broad file-format support to import major CAD/CAM and artistic drawing programs and to enable integration with many third-party systems.

Key Compatible Partners and Solutions

• Autodesk Fusion 360 — 3D CAD/CAM for importing, creating and manipulating 3D solid models; CAM functions can generate OMAX-compatible toolpaths or provide CAD output for IntelliCAM.
• Mastercam — CAM system for advanced 3D toolpath planning.
• Lantek — Software suite for digital transformation in sheet metal and metalworking, providing CAD/CAM/MES/ERP and support for multiple cutting technologies including waterjet.
• SigmaTEK — Programming and nesting solutions from entry-level to high-end, including nesting for 3D beveled paths; available with OMAX or MAXIEM machines.
• Kandu Software — Tools for importing and converting Bezarc and Adobe Illustrator files; some features integrated to improve Illustrator import into OMAX software.
• JetCam — Nesting software with automation and 3D beveling features; available with OMAX or MAXIEM machines.
• CAM CONCEPT — CAD/CAM nesting specialist for a wide range of industrial materials; FINEST CUT supports NC-controlled gas, plasma, laser and waterjet cutting.
• ProNest® CAD/CAM Nesting Software — Optional solution integrating with IntelliMAX to create efficient true-shape nests and import/export OMX and ORD files while retaining applicable XData.

Developers / Third-Party Integration Capabilities
OMAX provides multiple integration hooks for third parties. Common interfaces and supported capabilities include:

• Creating post processors that generate OMAX tool path files.
• Launching OMAX software from third-party applications.
• Automatic report generation.
• Running OMAX Motions from external software.
• Communicating with OMAX MAKE via shared files.
• Communicating with OMAX MAKE via Windows Messaging.
• Support for the MTConnect standard.
• Creating OMAX bitstream files for direct control of custom tool paths, including path recording and teach modes.
• Scripting support to extend or interface with OMAX software.

Program Terms and Notes
The program has no vendor fee and provides vendor support for OMAX file formats and related questions at no charge. If OMAX determines a software product is potentially useful and compatible, OMAX may grant permission to use the OMAX Compatible logo and may list the vendor on the OMAX website. OMAX performs basic checks at submission but does not endorse or guarantee third-party software quality or compatibility; testing is limited and customers should perform their own evaluations.
