Overview
Omniseal Solutions supplies genuine Rulon® PTFE-filled fluoropolymer compounds, originally developed in the 1950s (Rulon® A). Available in hundreds of formulated grades, Rulon® materials are engineered for manufacturing bearings, piston rings, cup seals, wear components and other critical parts across industrial sectors.

Rulon® materials provide a low coefficient of friction, long wear life, strong abrasion resistance, chemical inertness and the ability to perform across wide temperature and pressure ranges.

Material grades and color cues
Distinct fillers produce identifiable grades and color cues used for grade identification (for example: LR is maroon, J is gold, W2 is black, 641 is white). Fillers modify mechanical and tribological characteristics to extend application range.

Processing methods
Materials are processed by automatic and hand molding, extrusion, machining, skiving, stamping and forming. The chosen method depends on component geometry and intended end-use (e.g., automatic molding for bearings, skiving for sheets).
