The shutter accessory for the Xi series infrared cameras protects the camera optics by creating a mechanical seal. This accessory has a servo motor that opens and closes the shutter when needed. It features a fast-closing mode, which lets the shutter close in just 100 milliseconds for quick protection. When closed, the shutter forms a complete seal to stop dirt and contaminants from reaching the camera optics. The shutter comes with a control box for connections, enabling it to work with other systems. It can also be paired with the Process Interface for automatic control and triggering through software. When used with optional high-temperature cables and water-cooling accessories, it can operate in ambient temperatures up to 250°C.
