This tough, fiber-optic two-color (ratio) pyrometer provides exceptional reliability and accuracy from 450 °C to an impressive 3000 °C. It is the preferred tool for important processes in metalworking, semiconductor, and advanced materials industries. The CTratio 1M shines with its Two-color measurement principle, which compares two nearby infrared wavelengths. This smart technology guarantees stable, dependable readings, even when the target’s emissivity changes or when viewing windows get dirty from dust, steam, or splatter. It delivers accurate measurements despite up to 90% window soiling. The advanced Smart Ratio Mode (SRM) further improves performance in applications with variable signal needs. For accurate targeting, a bright green laser shows a clear spot on incandescent objects. The adjustable focus ranges from 150 mm to infinity, and a high optical resolution of up to 100:1 ensures measurement accuracy on the smallest targets. Designed for easy integration into any industrial setting, the CTratio 1M offers excellent connectivity. It supports a wide range of analog and digital outputs, including 0/4 – 20 mA, 0 – 5 V, 0 – 10 V, USB, RS485, RS232, relay outputs (2 x optically isolated), Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Profinet, and EtherNet/IP protocols. Its three programmable I/Os provide great flexibility for alarms, triggering, or controlling external parameters. The system’s sturdy design includes an electrically isolated sensing head and fiber-optic cable that can handle ambient temperatures up to 315 °C without cooling.
