Description
This MPPT Boost controller solar charger can be configured to recharge any battery from 48V to 72V, whatever its technology. In fact, this charger is compatible with Lithium batteries (LiMn and LiFePO4) as well as lead-acid, Gel, NiMh and NiCd batteries. MPPT technology is the technology that will give you the best charging performance. The boost controller built into the charger allows you to use a panel output voltage lower than the voltage of the battery to be charged. Note that you will need a panel output voltage greater than 26V, so two 12V panels in series will suffice. Charging speed will depend on the power of the panel and the sunlight conditions.
Note that this charger is not waterproof.
