Description

Overview
PAMA Speedram HP boring and milling machines combine maximum damping, high rigidity and elevated spindle speed with controlled thermal compensation to deliver precision on medium and large components where horizontal machining is preferable.

Design features
PAMA Speedram HP units adopt preloaded hydrostatic guides on the X and Y axes to maximize rigidity and vibration damping. The ram is guided inside the headstock by hydrostatic pads and is fitted with a boring bar using Direct Drive transmission. Both ram and boring bar incorporate feedback systems to compensate for thermal elongation, ensuring sustained precision and local vibration damping.
