Pantron's new ISM family of photoelectric sensing systems. For the first time, maunual and automatic amplifiers were combined in one device. All fields of application are covered from the single channel unit up to the cascaded 16-channel system.
ISM systems were developed for modern industrial controls. All models (except ISM-1220) are 24V DC operated and come with solid state output switches.
Pantron multiplexers allow multiple sets of photoelectric sensors to be used in close proximity without crosstalk. Each set of photoeyes is connected to a different channel on the multiplexer. 2, 4, and 8 channel multiplexers are available with a variety of features to include, automatic or manual gain control, time delay, and self-diagnostics.
In addition to these features, the 4 and 8 channel mulitplexers may be connected together in a master/slave setup that allows even more sets of eyes to be used in close proximity. This is an important feature when the eyes photoeyes are to be used as a light curtain.
All models have compact din rail housings and plug terminal connectors. Four and eight-channel models have LCD screen and menu display.
