Each pair of sensors consists of one transmitter IST… and one receiver ISR… The individual pairs operate as through-beam sensors and have a very small design. One great advantage of the sensors is that they may, due to their small design, be mounted anywhere in the manufacturing plant. No cross talk exists between the individual light barriers. Our patented automatic operation guarantees a constant switching sensitivity. It even stays constant in outdoor areas exposed to rain and fog or heavily polluted industrial environments. The system may be used wherever traditional light curtains and grids cannot, due to their design. Each channel has its own switching output so that it is possible to detect which channel is interrupted. The operation is controlled by a menu navigation that is shown on the LCD display. During operation, information about each channel is shown on the LCD display. The diagnostic mode may be used to achieve an exact alignment of the sensors.
