Product overviewThe Paramount Rotary Valve System transfers bulk waste from an air conveying system into a baler or compactor feed hopper while preventing air pressure transfer. It seals the material outlet from the conveying airstream to maintain operating conditions and reduce maintenance downtime.
Design and operationWear-resistant rubber strips are fitted at the tips of an internal rotating paddle assembly to form sealed rotating pockets that move material away from the airstream into the collection device. Conveying air passes over the unit without affecting system air pressure, preserving natural gravitational fall of material.
Drive and mountingThe paddle assembly is driven by a British-manufactured motorised gearbox mounted on shock-absorbing rubber bumpers. The gearbox includes an integral motor cut-out for protection and bobbins to reduce vibration and improve stability.
Noise controlA range of noise reduction options is available for installations in acoustically sensitive areas.
Benefits- No air leakage: prevents pressure loss and disturbance of material fall into compactor or baler chutes.
- High-volume processing: handles large volumes of waste within a compact footprint.
- Versatile material handling: suitable for paper, tissue, corrugated board, aluminium foil, plastic, scrap cans and flock.
