Description
The LM-TC-F1001 is a compact coating thickness gauge designed for precise measurements on ferrous (Fe) substrates. It features a small, tactile probe with a self-aligning prism that enables reliable thickness readings on wires and round stock. The device is nearly the size of the probe itself, making it suitable for thin coatings on steel cables, springs and similar geometries.
The housing is metal and rated IP64 for splash protection, and operation is simplified to a single button and a multilingual menu. The probe uses a magnetic induction principle compliant with ISO 2178 for measuring paint, lacquer, plastic, rubber, ceramic, galvanic coatings and zinc coatings (excluding nickel) on iron and steel.
The instrument supports wireless data transfer to Android and iOS mobile devices as well as Windows PCs. Internal memory is configurable and the free "Lima Connect" app / PC software allow project management, photo-tagged measurement points, statistical analysis and graphical representation of results.
