The VMS is a CCTV management software designed by Pelco. It is a Digital Sentry®, ONVIF-compliant software suitable for applications requiring single video, multiple or distributed servers. The free software download has a quick setup installation, with 4 Licenses for Pelco and Third-Party IP Cameras/Encoders for a full-featured video solution. An automatic software update for control point is provided by the system. The software supports up to 64 cameras, depending on server specifications. It ensures a remote administration, monitoring, and management of video and audio data. VMS allows recording of audio from Pelco IP cameras, and provides a maximum quick review of 90 minutes. VMS software has available thumbnail, timeline, and scrub bar search methods, and supports Windows active directory. Furthermore, it can also be installed in industry-standard servers, and is configurable per individual IP device.
