Overview
The 55 series are single-head frontal saws equipped with a Ø 550 mm blade and a 4 HP blade motor. Two versions are available (R55 and RE55), differing in the head rotation and inclination control systems.

Cutting unit inclination

• R55: pneumatic inclination of the cutting unit with fixed angles at 20°, 45° and 90° to the right and left. Intermediate angles are set manually via a degree scale; the angle reading is shown on the digital display.
• RE55: electronic inclination controlled by a linear drive for very high positioning accuracy. Continuous angle control within a range of +/- 20°. Cutting angles are entered through a 7" touchscreen operator panel.

Clamping, lubrication and protection

• Standard horizontal clamps for secure profile clamping; optional configuration with 4 clamps including 2 vertical cylinders.
• Spray lubrication system for the blade.
• Integral pneumatic protection for the cutting unit.
