Low pressure bags. Designed for water, gas and sewage pipelines. Suitable to protect the operators from the return of gas bubbles on empty pipelines; or to protect from remaining fluids inside the pipes. Suitable for temporary closing of pipelines. Are available also with flameshield. Inflatable Pipeline Stoppers manufactured in sizes 2" - 84" in canvas or nylon, complete with hose and brass tap as standard Specification for Inflatable Stoppers Bladders - All are manufactured from either dipped rubber latex or latex sheet Tubing - PVC braided tubing is used throughout the range. Tube length is 6ft long on sizes 2" - 18", and 4ft 6in on larger sizes. Valves - 1/4" BSP female brass flexible tube cock, or schrader valve (car tyre type) please state when ordering. 1/2" ball valve can be supplied on larger bags Cases - Made in either PU coated polyester cotton, or PU coated nylon Inflation Pressures - 2 - 4" = 10 psi (pounds per sq inch). 6" = 6 psi. 8 - 10" = 4 psi. 12 - 16" = 3 psi. 18" and over = 2 psi Application Our’ s air bags can be used for a number of applications including: pipe testing, oil pipeline maintenance, gas pipeline maintenance, and drain testing It is worth noting that any slight physical support will dramatically increase the holdback pressure
