Overview
Series PFD pneumatic frame clamp delivers consistent high clamp force across a wide pressure range for demanding body-in-white, frame welding and heavy fabrication applications. The cam-driven mechanism produces up to 4,581 lb (20.4 kN) total clamp force to secure large or complex assemblies reliably.

Designed for flexibility and serviceability, the PFD features wide jaw throat openings, multiple interchangeable jaw styles and robust tooling surfaces with dowel pin locations to simplify fixture design. A modular jaw system enables quick removal or modification for fast changeovers. Removable weld covers protect internal components while allowing maintenance and proximity switch adjustment without removing the clamp from the fixture. The unit includes switch-ready capability, integrated flow control, quiet cycle operation under 0.7 seconds and backward-compatible mounting surfaces for direct replacement of competing frame clamps.
