PINETTE PEI provides static test equipment for testing Ariane 5 cryogenic tank supply lines, simulating the temperatures and forces they can be subjected to in real-life conditions. This type of test rig, mounted on a welded steel frame, is equipped with accessories to test resistance to shear stress, internal pressure, deformation and extreme temperatures. The optimized design of this equipment guarantees reliability, ease of use and versatility. It has been used to carry out 10 successive campaigns for the Ariane 5 cryogenic supply line test program (with a different configuration each time).
