OverviewThe ES12ZETTL is a compact single-axis stepper motor controller with encoder input, 10 TTL inputs and 5 TTL outputs. It adds a single high-performance stepper axis to existing or new systems and supports synchronized triggering of external devices.
Functionality and applicationsThe controller is suitable for motorized Z‑axis drives, rotary multi-position devices (e.g. filter wheels), motorized nosepieces and other stepper-driven components. It can trigger external equipment such as cameras or sensors for image acquisition and automated workflows in microscopy and OEM systems.
Connectivity and options- USB-C (Virtual COM) and joystick interface for control and integration.
- Optional ES12ADTTL module to convert the high-density TTL port to SMB connectors for flexible cabling.
- Available in bench-top and OEM casework; open-access SDK and multiple DLL interfaces provided for integration.
Key features- 15 programmable TTL ports (10 inputs, 5 outputs).
- Encoder input for closed-loop operation (AB quadrature).
- Variable motor drive current up to 1.5 A.
- Resolution: 250 microsteps per full motor step.
- Passive cooling (no fan required) and compact footprint.
