Description

TK (Turn Key) tapping units withremovable single or multitap headand built-in mobility functions. These tapping units are designed with a removablehead and may be used for single or multi-tapapplications. The tapping head is driven either bymechanical or by servo-driven motorization. The twopart design simplifies operations and enables quicktap change.These units have been studied to integrate the commonlyinstalled functions in the die directly and compactly in thetapping head.According to the proposed version, the «TK» solutionintegrates the following functions: • Strip guiding, • Vertical strip follow (strip lift), • Quick approach of the tapping head and strip piloting.
