Description
The nju:tn I N1+ is a system for automated cutting property measurement of knives and blades for workshop and laboratory use.
The measuring method is based on a cut into and through a band-shaped foil (nju:tn | Sheets), whereby the cutting force is measured during the cut. The cut is performed either manually or optionally by an automation unit (e.g. nju:tn | N+) using a motor. After the cut, the test medium is fed manually or automatically in systems for blade production. The measured force-displacement curve or the characteristic values evaluated from it (sharpness characteristic value, cutting ability characteristic value) evaluate the cutting properties of the knife or blade. They are visualized on the display and can be read out using the nju:tn | Data PC software.
