Product descriptionPPS is the preamplifier power supply and signal separator. When the chosen data acquisition board cannot supply power to the preamplifier and there is no power adapter available to connect to the preamplifier, connect the PPS and an external power adapter to provide power and separate the signals to ensure normal operation.
Application notesMost non-AE acquisition systems do not supply DC power to analog inputs (for example oscilloscopes or general DAQ modules). If sensors include built-in preamps or PAV, install the PPS between the sensor and the DAQ/instrument. Select the PPS type based on the input impedance of the DAQ or oscilloscope: choose PPS50 if the instrument input impedance is low; choose PPS2000 if it is very high.
Features- Two types available: PPS50 and PPS2000
- Provides phantom power to preamplifiers and separates signal
