Rheo Containment Isolators provide safe environments for potent and/or hazardous material handling. Our isolator systems are built to order for your application needs.
Safety: Position drums directly in front of the operator for optimized dispensing ergonomics. The isolator can be nitrogen inerted for hazardous material handling and paired with extraction for potent material handling, achieving containment levels of less than 50 ng/m3.
Efficiency: Throughput is maximized by use of efficient material entry and exit methods. Cleaning time is minimized by use of a CIP sequence and cleanable chamber design.
Reliability: Rheo has developed vast process experience in the Containment Isolator product line and offers full testing validation services to ensure reliable performance.
Controlled Environment
The Containment Isolator can be automated to monitor and maintain a safe operating environment. The operating conditions are customized to a specific application and are automatically adjusted based on what mode the glovebox is in (these set-points are controllable even with vacuum transfer applications). A touch-screen HMI is used to control the operating mode and to display the system conditions or give user prompts.
Material Management
The Containment Isolator has multiple material management options:
• Drum Entry
• Airlocks
• Rapid Transfer Ports
• BIBO (Bag-In /Bag-Out)
Common Features
• Multiple Chambers with Cascading Pressure Control
• CIP/WIP Capabilities (with Optional Spray Wand)
• Double HEPA Safe-Change Filter System with Pre-Filter
• Hazardous Location Capability
• On-Board Extraction System (RheoFan)
