Many industrial body shops, producers of cars, electronics and household appliances, started using the Lockriv as it has many advantages: bevelling on both ends of the mandrel (tip head) allows a quick insertion both inside the nosepiece of the riveting tool, and also inside the hole where the rivet has to be placed. The deformation of the washer-shaped body gives as results high tensile strength; perfect filling of the hole where the rivet has been placed; maximum clamping on aluminium, fibreglass, plastics; attractive finish on smooth surfaces with no sharp corners.
