Description

Overview
The R&S®ATS1500C is a transportable compact antenna test range (CATR) fully anechoic chamber designed for automotive radar sensor development, validation and calibration. It integrates a gold-plated parabolic reflector, a high-speed two-axis (tilt-tilt) 3D positioner and a universal feed antenna providing parallel access to both polarizations. An optional RF‑transparent enclosure enables automated temperature testing from -40 °C to +85 °C without degrading RF measurements.

  • Enclosure for environmental testing: RF-transparent, thermally isolating enclosure option allows heating/cooling of the DUT from -40 °C to +85 °C while keeping RF measurement integrity; enclosure supports mounting on the positioner (outer axis ±90°, inner axis ±15°).
  • Integration & control: web-based GUI, Ethernet control with SCPI-like commands, trigger synchronization for external equipment and multiple feedthroughs for flexible DUT connectivity without compromising shielding.
