Battery cell dual layer sensor WF

The WF series, manufactured by Roland Electronic, is a battery sensor. The device consist of a two layer detection sensor for Li-Ion Electrodes and a thin non magnetic foils. The sensor performs two layer detection with less than 20ms. response time. The sensors can be integrated with the universal detector system XA100. It has an LCD display, a keyboard and binary outputs. The thickness and conductivity of the series is 300 to 3000 ohm. The series uses Eddy current measurement principle. The sensor size is M12x1. The large air gaps lessens the ability in detecting the second layer dramatically. The device has a power supply of 20 to 28 VDC and currently supplied with < 50 mA. In connecting to a PLC, the device has an analog output.
