Description

The RONDOL patented “All-in-One” vertical twin screw extruder further enhances the proven performance of the Hot melt Extrusion (HME) technology for producing the next generation drugs, devices and materials, such as : Drug Formulation & Manufacturing Materials Science Research Compounding Solutions Personal Care & Cosmetics High temperature polymer parts Molecular Dispersion Bio Availability Production related development (fibers & filaments, films & sheets, rods & strand, tubes) 3D printed medical devices From horizontal classic to vertical “All-in-One” : Longer barrel for smoother mixing of fragile active principles (API). Precise monitoring of process temperature for APIs with narrow range from melting to degradation. New design for external parts to avoid contamination between lots. New design for internal parts to make change over “easy” in between lots. Vertical format to decrease capital intensity (machine footprint divided by 5). Optimized configuration for 3D with strong and stable pressure at the die. Full range of plug and play downstream accessories Last mods post COVID-19 trials: new easy feed hopper, autonomous cooling for each zone.
