Since 1999, Kromaton has been developing a wide range of complete FCPC® systems (Fast Centrifugal Partition Chromatography), for the separation and purification of natural, biological or synthetic molecules. Centrifugal Partition Chromatography (CPC), or Countercurrent Chromatography (CCC), is a liquid/liquid preparative chromatography technique. It is considered today as an advantageous alternative to standard techniques such as HPLC, MPLC or Flash Chromatography. The main advantages comparing to other chromatographic techniques are: No costly solid packing material (silica etc.) High throughput and optimal productivities No sample loss (due to irreversible adsorption) and 100% recovery No denaturation of fragile molecules Moderate solvent consumption Our FCPC range For method development (laboratory scale) : FCPC C with 25 or 50 ml column For preparative separations until pilot (pre-production scale) : FCPC A available with 4 exchangeable columns (25, 50, 200, 1000 ml) For production scale : FCPC D with 5000 or 10000 ml column For targeted fractionation : FCPC A with extractor version rotor of 300 ml FCPC C is a benchtop system, ideal for method development and preparative applications involving small sample quantities, low solvent consumption and faster separations.
