Description

Product overview
This vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) liquid stick packing machine forms, fills and seals individual sachets from a roll of flexible film. Liquids such as mouthwash, sauces, beverages and personal care products are metered and dispensed into stick sachets via selectable pump systems. PLC control with servo synchronization ensures coordinated film feed, filling and sealing for continuous automated operation.

Specification summary
Capacity: 30–40 cycles per minute per lane, up to 40 sachets/lane/min. Suitable for mouthwash, perfume samples, creams in single-dose format and various liquid consumables and pharmaceuticals.

How it works
  • Film unwinding and forming: roll film is guided over a forming collar to create a tube around the filling tube.
  • Longitudinal sealing: vertical sealing jaws create a continuous longitudinal seal.
  • Bottom sealing and filling: horizontal bottom seal is made, then the pump meters liquid into the open pouch; anti-drip or back-suction nozzle prevents leakage.
  • Top sealing and cutting: top horizontal seal closes the sachet and an integrated cutter separates individual packs; tear notches optional.
  • Product discharge: finished sachets are discharged via conveyor or collected with a counting system for downstream handling.

Main features
  • High-precision filling with options: servo-driven piston/plunger, peristaltic or ceramic pumps for accurate dosing.
  • Anti-drip filling nozzle with suck-back or back-suction valve to protect seal integrity and prevent contamination.
  • Multiple sealing modes: back seal, three-side and four-side sealing to meet appearance and strength requirements.
  • PLC control and servo synchronization for stable, high-speed operation and accurate film-feed/fill coordination.

Applications
  • Food & Beverage: ketchup, honey, juice, dressings, liquid coffee, milk — single-use portions, convenience and portion control.
  • Personal Care: shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, wet-wipes solution, perfume samples — travel kits, hotel amenities, sample distribution.
  • Pharmaceutical & Healthcare: oral liquids, syrups, eye drops, mouthwash — precise dosing, sterile-compatible options, GMP alignment.
  • Industrial & Chemical: lubricants, adhesives, cleaning agents, agrochemicals — small-dose dispensing, reduced waste, safe handling.

Filling accuracy & influencing factors
  • Typical accuracy: standard machines ±0.5% to ±1%; high-precision configurations (ceramic/piston pumps) can reach ±0.1% for critical applications.
  • Influencing factors: liquid viscosity, temperature stability, pump type and maintenance, nozzle design and anti-drip measures, environmental conditions.

Pump selection guidance
  • Peristaltic pump: suitable for low-to-medium viscosity and particulate-containing liquids; hygienic because fluid contacts tubing only; tubing is consumable.
  • Piston/plunger pump: suited for medium-to-high viscosity liquids and high-speed production; offers good accuracy and pressure capability.
  • Ceramic pump: recommended for high-value, corrosive, abrasive or sterile products; excellent wear resistance and highest dosing accuracy; higher initial cost.

Additional machine elements
  • Customized forming collar for stick profile and multi-lane layouts.
  • Servo-driven film feeding and filling drives for precise coordination.
  • Optional modules: heating for viscous fluids, SIP compatibility for ceramic pumps, anti-crystallization jackets and in-line inspection sensors.

Technical characteristics
  • Model reference: RD-SPM-400.
  • Product family note: multi-line stick packaging configuration.
  • Capacity / Speed: 30–40 cycles/min per lane; up to 40 sachets/lane/min.
  • Max. film width: 480 mm.
  • Power: 9.5 kW.
  • Noise level: <65 dBA.
  • Filling accuracy: up to ±0.1% with ceramic piston pumps; typical ±0.5%–±1%.
  • Pump options: peristaltic, plunger/piston, ceramic piston.
  • Sealing types: back sealing, three-side, four-side sealing.
  • Anti-drip: filling nozzle with anti-drip valve or back-suction device.
  • Control: PLC with servo-controlled drives for synchronized film feed and filling.
