SHUT-OFF DAMPER The SDL Shut-Off damper is used to block or allow passage of the airflow inside ventilation and airconditioning systems on ships. The heavyweight frame, made from 4 pieces welded together, means it can be installed on load-bearing structures such as bridges, bulkheads or directly onto the sides of ships. The Shut-off Dampers can be combined to create larger dampers than the range of sizes provided and can be fitted with manual, electrical/pneumatic systems for secure or classified areas.
