FIRE & GAS TIGHT DAMPER – SOLAS A0-A60 The SFDT fire damper is used to prevent the spread of fire inside ventilation and air-conditioning systems on ships. The heavyweight frame, made from 4 pieces welded together, means it can be installed on loadbearing structures such as bridges and bulkheads. The SFDT version includes a number of special features to ensure optimum tightness. The Fire & Gas Dampers can be combined to create larger dampers than those listed in the range of sizes and can be fitted with mechanical, electrical/pneumatic systems for secure or classified areas. Certifications: • MED; • SOLAS A0/A60; • DNV Type Approval; • ABS Type Approval; • ATEX IIGD -20°C < T < +50°C; • Class 3C certified in accordance with EN1751 (up to 2000 Pa); • EAC Declaration of Conformity.
