Overview
TAURUS is a high-capacity rotary screening unit manufactured by Salher for wastewater pretreatment. It removes suspended solids, protects downstream electromechanical equipment and biological processes, and helps optimize overall purification performance.

Design and construction
TAURUS is constructed in GRP and AISI 316 stainless steel to provide strong corrosion resistance and long service life in aggressive environments. The unit features a compact footprint relative to its handling capacity and includes an elevated support to accommodate a solid waste collection container for improved waste management and easier maintenance.

Filtration and cleaning
The rotary screen incorporates a filtering drum with mesh size options from 0.25 mm to 3 mm for effective solid separation. It integrates a dual cleaning system to ensure continuous operation and to minimize maintenance requirements.
