Description

Overview
The PX is a compact automatic panel bender designed for flexible production of single parts, kits and small batches. It combines universal in-cycle bending tools with automated handling cycles, adaptive control and Industry 4.0 connectivity to maintain repeatability across variable materials and mixed production runs.

Key features
  • Universal bending tools: upper/lower blade, counterblade and blankholder adapt automatically in cycle to a wide range of thicknesses and materials without manual retooling.
  • Automatic bending and handling cycles enable high productivity (advanced cycles average up to 17 bends/minute).
  • Adaptive control (bending formula, MAC3.0): sensors and algorithms detect material variability (deflection, temperature, thickness) and adjust parameters to reduce scrap and rework.
  • Safety: CE marked; loading/unloading monitored by optical light barriers for operator protection.
  • Robot integration: CI interface for loading/unloading robot (robot on left side) and removable side wall for robot setup; P-Robot option for autonomous kit/batch/single-part production.
  • Connectivity & software: FACE HMI for intuitive operation; LINKS, STREAM and OPS for IoT, programming and production management / ERP integration.

How it works (summary)
Four universal tools (upper/lower blade, counterblade, blankholder) operate in cycle to process machinable materials (typical range 0.5–2.5 mm) without downtime for tool changes. The sheet is referenced once against controlled mechanical stops; bending is performed by controlled interpolated movements and the bending formula defines force and motion in real time to ensure precision and repeatability.

Applications / Examples
  • Bending of stainless steel refrigerator doors and thin-gauge drawers.
  • Production of single parts, kit assemblies and batch-one production without manual retooling due to automatic blankholder adaptation.
