Overview
Salvagnini sorting solutions optimize production flow and part traceability for laser-cut parts, available as manual and automatic systems to integrate sorting directly with the cutting process.

TN manual sorting device
  • The TN manual sorting device enables operators to separate cut parts from the skeleton, allowing cutting and sorting to run in parallel and improving line throughput.


MCU automatic sorting device
  • The MCU automatic sorting device stacks parts of varied shapes, sizes and weights with high flexibility.
  • Standard sorting strategy plus advanced modes: multi-gripping mode (sequentially picking several parts with the same gripper) and double-picking mode (reducing part pick time by simultaneous handling).
  • Manipulators rotate 360° to remove geometric constraints and enable gripping of complex shapes.
  • Includes Smart Cluster to micro-joint small parts quickly, overcoming dimensional thresholds and reducing total unloading time.


MCU operational limits and capabilities
  • Pickable material thickness: 0.5 to 15 mm.
  • Pickable weight: up to 65 kg per manipulator; up to 130 kg when two grippers work together.
  • Minimum automatic part dimensions: 100 x 200 mm (Smart Cluster addresses parts below these limits).


NEXUS software for MCU
  • NEXUS (Salvagnini) automatically defines grips, generates unloading sequences and positions stacked parts in unloading areas.
  • The interface supports manual interaction and fine tuning; usable both in the office and on-board the machine.
