Sandblasting surface profile gauge – SA6223 The Digital Profile Tester is a handheld gauge especially designed for fast and accurate measurement of sandblasted surfaces roguhness. The instrument measures the distance from the peak and the valley on the surface after sandblasting process. If the peak is too high, the coating quantity must increase, otherwise there could be the risk that the peaks remain uncoated – allowing rust spots. If the peak is too low, there may be insufficient adhesion of the coating to the surface, leading to premature coating failure. Ensuring the correct surface preparation, the coating performance will be optimized and cost-cutting will be assured.
